  • Project Owner : the National Office of Sanitation (ONAS).
  • Consistency of the works :
    • Daily flow : 1200 m3/d
    • Average total flow in BOD5 = 650 kg/d
    • Pumping station with a pressure pipe of 2.2 km in HDPE 250 PN 10 and a discharge pipe of 1.5 km in HDPE 315 PN6
    • 3 treatment processes:
      • Mechanical: a building with a first floor with a surface area of 100m2
      • Biological: 2 aeration basins of 1200m3 capacity + 2 decanters of 300m3 capacity
      • Tertiary: 2 sand filters with 2 UV cells + a 40m3 treated water tank designed for the irrigation of the plantations of the treatment plant and for the rinsing of the pipes in case of blockage
  • Project cost: 12,186,003.727 Tunisian Dinars and MTT’s share 4,474,647.000 Tunisian Dinars 
  • Start of works: May 2019
